Barn roof vents after a snow storm (see following photo as well).

I had to wade through the snow to get this shot the morning after the snow storm we had Feb. 9th. I enjoy the sculptural qualities of architectural elements especially outdoors.

Two pairs of curved top shutters and a Queen Anne window with original glass (mirror added) makes an interesting and artistic assemblage. Balleycanoe has many Queen Anne windows similar to this one and hundreds (maybe more then a thousand) shutters available to make your own unique "sculpture". A wonderful early 19th C. transom from Newboro has found a new home. Thanks Jen.

I imagine this took someone a while to paint but it was certainly worth the effort. It now hangs outside on her porch and is a colorful and dynamic piece of outdoor art. The tin was from my "scrap" pile and probably cost less then a couple of dollars!

A customer sent me this picture showing how she created an arbour using half round wagon wheel rims. You need to look closely to see how it works. I think it is a very successful use of found material. Note as well the stove pipe collar hanging on the fence.
