An outstanding pair of 6"X6" cast brass hinges. In the highly collectable "Columbian" pattern, made by Reading Hardware of Reading, PA. Note the fox heads hidden in the filigree pattern. Possible the best pair of hinges I have owned!

A complete exterior door hardware. Ornate brass knobs, plate, bezel, esceutchins, strike plate, and mortise lock.  Perfect working condition.

An exterior Corbin lock set, complete and never used.  Note original box which has all parts including 2 keys, the strike plate and even the brass screws. Many available.

This pattern of "bennington" knobs I have not come across before.  They are in excellent condition and are meant for a mortise lock instead of a surface box lock. 

It has been a while since I have had a complete wishbone lock set (right image).  The set includes both Georgian knobs (brass), shank, screw sets, and rarest of all the original bezel (on other side)!  All in excellent condition.  This is a very rare item...ca. 1820 and found in the Mallorytown area.

Set of four bronze ice box hinges.

Ornate brass faced mortise locks. Balleycanoe has a good selection of these. They are not that intimidating to use especially if you have a plunge router but can be installed almost as easily with a drill for rough shaping and a chisel for final details. They are the locks of choice for finer, more formal, door knobs.

A pair of rams horn ends to a brass ballustrade that was outside the old Eaton Centre in Toronto. They have wonderful heft and great patina.
