A pair of carved panels from a 19th C. hearse. The local cabinet maker, coffin maker, and funeral director were often the same person. Panels such as these were used to decorate the hearses and to show off the cabinet maker's skills. This pair are exceptionally nice and are in excellent condition. Beautiful as they are they also would be wonderful built into a pair of doors to a small cabinet. SOLD
